Kite Flying on Holkham Beach

Lovely day. Weather was mostly good. We spent most of the day at Holkham Hall, on the playground, walking the nature trail round the lake and picnicking.

We then headed to the beach where the kids flew their school made kites and then played in the sea. It chucked it down for about 10mins, totally clearing the beach for us. The kids stayed in the sea and Jim got a wet back but sheltered me from the worst of it.

When they were too cold to continue we got them dry and headed to Wells for a fish and chip tea. Perfect.
