Mixed day

The weather was lovely for the local marathon this morning, the thermometer in the car registered 25c! We went round to my friend's house for a cup of tea and a catch up and decided that a visit to the beach was called for. Sadly, by the time we arrived, it had clouded over. But we stuck it out, the boys built a sandcastle, swam and Baby J paddled and ate sand!
We followed all this with a lovely meal with mum. :-) On the way home we went tide watching, it was really high and nearly lapping over the top of the wall.
