After hours of testing and debugging I found a work around for the problem with our GIS system and only then did I go for a walk. The weather was nice, no wind and not that cold. This alder looked very strong and healthy as opposed to the plant we put down a month or so ago. We put some horse manure on them this evening, to see if that would help. It is probably a bit late in the season, but still...
