Twister, Remind You Of Anything?

I had a lovely run through the country lanes of Cambridgeshire today to the Little Gransden Airshow to see Lauren Richardson display in her Pitts Special. It's something I had been wanting to do for a while and I made it my New Year Resolution. She is only twenty-eight and an inspiration, a wonderful role model. It was fantastic to see her fly at last.

I was rather taken with the Twisters in my pic. The design was originally for a radio controlled model but later developed into a full size aerobatic machine. It has beautiful elliptical wings just like a Spitfire.
