It did it for me ...

I'm reasonably convinced this is a juvenile Least Bittern (Ixobrychus exilis), horrendously hard to find in the reeds but unable to defeat the eagle eye of my new birding friend Andrew Sheehan. Strange that I should have to go all the way to Peru to see a bittern (my first), but a very welcome addition to my life list. And if anyone reading this thinks it's not a Least Bittern please do get in touch.
