And another winner of a day. An amble up to Charlotte Square to sit in the sun and have coffee with friends, after another excellent intelligent discussion on language and translation, once again featuring Aleksandar Hemon amongst others. A quiet afternoon at home, before we went back up into town to the Opera.

A blockbuster of a finish to the Festival. I do believe we've enjoyed more outstanding performances than ever before, and we haven't even had to kiss any (or many) frogs in order to score some excellent hits.
