Thriving On Neglect
There was some doubt that there were any tadpoles in the smallest Makeshift Tadpool (see the odd-shaped orange one in the original photo). So, while we carefully protected the larger ones from frost, change their water, feed them best liver and recently give them Even Better Makeshift Tadpools, we just ignored the little one.
When I went to tip out some of the water after all the rain, this little one dived back under the weed, closely followed by another, both have their front legs; even the biggest in the Bigger Even Better Makeshift Tadpool still have to grow theirs.
So much for lavish care and attention.
There will be a gap in blippping for a while as we're off to Italy tomorrow.
