A splash of colour

This morning I go into the office for the first time in a fortnight. Looking out of the window I spotted this splash of colour and remembered how, earlier in the year, I cleared the area of weeds, concrete, etc. Having forgot about all that, seeing this splash of orange came as a rather brilliant surprise. As I took the picture a skein of geese flew overhead. The last day of August, they're early this year.
