IBD Awareness Walk

The big day has arrived!  After months of preparation the IBD Awareness Walk marched on Swansea.

I couldn’t relax until everyone was home safe and sound, I just wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves.  We struck lucky with the weather, it was a glorious day and welcomed some people who had never realised how beautiful Swansea Bay is.

It was good to see friends come out and support me, and also that the Chief Executive Officer of the charity we were raising money for, Crohns and Colitis UK, also turned out.  Thanks David!

Celebrated with fish and chips from Dick Bartons down the Mumbles, and then went out in the evening with my friends Richard and Anne who were staying the weekend down in Swansea.
