Auntie Donna

K and I went to see Auntie Donna act in 'Sequamur', a Gaelic play about a headmaster in Stornoway who encouraged his students to join up and go to War in 1914. There's a plaque in the school with the names of the 148 students who died. Pretty powerful stuff. Written by D. S. Murray, an ex-English teacher from the same school and an ex-boss of mine. It's been touring around Britain and Ireland and luckily we managed to catch it here in London before it moves on. Belgium next.

Molly was looked after while we went to see it but we all managed to catch Donna afterwards for a quick hug and a chat.
