Lethal Laburnum

The Laburnum looks so lovely in full bloom but I have heard that if eaten the seed pods can be lethal, even causing death.
However, when they dry and the pods curl and separate revealing black seeds, they are very beautiful. I use them in my work to impress into clay to create pattens and silhouettes as can be seen here in today's blip!
