Home!

Today we drove 800 miles plus a ferry crossing to get home. The Ibis hotel was good, except for the saxophonist concert in a neighbouring club. He seemed to go on for ever. 

We had planned to go to the Cite Europe to do some shopping (yes booze and some presents) but it was shut. We couldn't believe that it closed on Sundays!  Oh well saved us some money. This meant we could get an earlier ferry and missed any port staff strike issues. We saw the migrant camp again, oh it's huge.They are going to have a hard time in the winter. People shouldn't have to live like that. 

The rest of our journey was gladly uneventful, and we arrived home to the most excited little puppy! Indie seems larger and furrier! All well at home, which really brings a fantastic holiday to an end.
