St James at Figeac
Today we visited Figeac - a marvellously atmospheric Renaissance townscape.
My pick of the day was this gaily painted statue of St James the Great in one of the town's churches.
Figeac is on the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella and much of its wealth in olden times came from pilgrim tourism.
