The Tom Paine Printing Press

Another afternoon visiting Artwave Open Studios in Lewes including Edward Reeve's, the oldest continuously operated photographic studio in the world. Just up the high street  is The Tom Paine Printing Press which hosts a working 18th-century-style wooden ‘common press’, as used to print Paine’s influential pamphlets and books including The Rights of Man and The Age of Reason.
