Beam support

Back to extending the studio today.  There is a beam going across one of the to-be walls.  It is supported by a cast iron pillar and I need to find a way of building around it.  Youtube has been of little assistance.

I went to the local builders merchant for some more supplies - plasterboard , cladding and the like.  I was hoping that they would tell me it would be delivered in a fortnight or so - not that I am above average lazy but because that is the time I need to think about it, watch the youtube videos and think about it some more.  All part of the learning process.

They delivered it this afternoon.  At no charge.  Maybe I should have paid them for a delay.
