Been to the beach...

Well, just for a few minutes to drink spiced tea whilst waiting for my 6:30 haircut appointment. I've only had to wait patiently for 10 days for my hairdresser to come back from her holiday.

Got picked up by G and enjoyed the drive to here, but not back into town as Dubai is fast returning to it's 2008 traffic jams. It was a real treat to be back at this beach just before sunset. I didn't expect it at all. They seem to be developing the place and there is now some greenery and these solar panel features. I've yet to discover what it's all about.

Came back into town to have some chaat (my Indian friends will know what that is). Not chaat as I know it or as it was advertised on Groupon; misrepresentation to a high degree but the service of the establishment was excellent, so we'll  go back again. Think those were the highlights. Totally forgot it is Mono Monday. I haven't even checked out today's theme.
