Damp squib

Walked past Millenium 'beach' AKA Leeds' rip-off summer fair on its last day. I'm not sure its been a big hit due to the fact the beach is minuscule and during the month it's been there, our summer's been pretty piss poor. Today's been a horrible rainy day so I was telling Wellsy the beach has been a bit of a 'damp squid' only to find that's not the correct term at all. After some Googling it turns out I'm in good company as its top of the list for misquoted phrases.
