Rat Race

And so the reason I'm here is all very clear this morning. Despite the grey, murky London skyline. I felt a touch nervous about my abilities in the big smoke. The walk into the City and to Liverpool Street itself was slightly exciting and also eye-opening in the fact that we're all just part of the rat race. Thankfully, my work seems to have gone down well. Once home i found a decent bar to watch the football and eat a cardiac arrest of a sandwich. I fear for my waistline this week. I foresee lots of street-food and ale, every night this week.
