As one door closes …

Hard day today as mum & I had to clear nana’s room at her home. It hit home to  see an empty room as nana was always there, she liked to sit on her bed and gaze out of the window onto the fields beyond. It was difficult sorting through her belongings and packing them away but we helped each other along as we did it. At the end we closed the door of her room and that chapter of her life.


The weather didn’t help today as it was grey and rainy all day and it certainly matched our sombre mood … although in the spirit of nana we did manage a laugh and a joke along the way too. I was hoping to rescue poor JB from Duxford today but again due weather it is going to have to wait another day! Happy Bank Holiday everyone!!
