Cave dwelling (Italy day 3)
This cave dwelling in Matera belonged to a man called Vico Solitario, who lived in this home until 1953. They had 6 children, but there's only actually 1 bed in the house - the children slept in various places including a drawer, on top of some straw in the food box, in a chest at the foot of the bed, and the youngest in the bed with mum and dad. The animals shared the cave with its human inhabitants.
