On the go

This chappie is the yellow hat caught my attention in the Subway Station this afternoon. Working on the principle that pictures that are unlikely to be repeated easily are more interesting, I have relegated my gardening endeavours to the extra photo.
There you can see that the apples look good and I've started using the windfalls. The pea crop is all but over but has been great. The climbing beans are only now producing their red flowers, so unless there is an extraordinary warm September I think I'll not be cooking many home-grown green beans. It will be the first time this has happened.
