Monopoly

I had heard about these new £5 notes, but this is the first one I've had in my hands.

They are plastic coated with a see through plastic security window. The apparently stand up to wear & tear better and therefore last longer. I'm guessing the spend just as easily.

I had a mate who's job was servicing cash machines. I remember him telling me that for each English note there were only 4 images the machine had to recognise: heads right way up, tails right way up, heads upside down etc..
But because there are so many varieties of Scottish notes, there were 20 odd combinations.
Never had that problem with sheccles.
