Fuschia

The birds love the fuschia as much as the bees.  Many of the flowers have died back now, and provide seed heads which the birds are enjoying.

Not a great day weather-wise, with some extremely heavy showers.  I started making a blanket last autumn, but stopped work on it when I realised it had become rhomboid rather than the intended rectangular.  So today I undid most of it, and started again - I'll have to check every row, rather than ploughing on regardless, to make sure it stays in a reasonable shape.
