All This to Look Up a Flower . . .

Our (?) Velbon VS-443D arrived today. 
 
Of course Mrs W was keen to get out and photograph the underneath of a flower or something, but it did prove a little windy for macro photography.  I was keen to get a shot of the new kit in action, but would you believe that either the sun was at the wrong angle, or the background was wrong, and when I did finally get a few shots lined up they were all out of focus for some unexplained reason. 
 
This shot was a bit of a quick mock-up just before (as) it started to rain.  A little bit of PS just to make it more interesting.
