September Still Life

Had quite a photography feast with these little decorative pumpkins. Glad I went shopping and discovered them instead of making do with what was in the fridge for lunch. You never know what you might find at the local supermarket. 

I think I have found the right set up (in my living room) for my still lifes, with one main light source coming from 90° - 180° to the camea, depending where I position myself, to get a kind of chiaroscuro effect.I hung a dark curtain over the second window and with a little practice I am now quite good at climbing onto the window sill to put the curtain up or remove it.
