Tea out

Almost end of the holidays tea out. They were both very happy.

Earlier Will had to have another filling. The dentist was ok but clearly hadn't much experience with little ones (unlike the fabulous one that sorted Carys out, or indeed our normal dentist) and she hardly let the lignocaine or the injection have time to work and ploughed on despite Will's proper howling. I think he was more traumatised by the removal of his molar than both he and I thought!

Unable to eat or drink for two hours I took him to the library where he had a lovely chat with the librarian about the books he has been reading and was shown their book which links authors styles and subjects and was told about www.mrsmad.com to look at at home. He came away with a bag of books and Mummy has some more ideas of where to direct him next.

We tried to go bowling on the spur of the moment but all the lanes were booked so that has been put on the back burner until another day. Pizza Express was a lovely end to a lovely holiday. One day left and I get to spend that with Carys. We are planning on exploring Cambridge for the day.
