Why?

I needed a passport size photo for an identity card.

So I dutifully sat in position with the lack of expression required.

As I sat there I recalled all the photos I have had taken since June 23rd 2012.

That day I made sure I was smiling in every single photo. It wasn't difficult, I did have an Olympic Torch with me for company.

I have made sure ever since that anyone who wants a photo of me gets a happy smiling one.

I would really like to smile for my passport photo.

Anyone know the reason were not allowed to smile for our passport?
