Tiny Tuesday

Today is the first day of autumn and the last day of the summer weather - 38 degrees - so I made the most of it. Had lunch in a garden restaurant with my new English friend then coffee in an outside cafe afterwards. This evening another friend and I took her dog for a walk then sat in her garden  drinking some bubbles. It was still pleasantly warm but the wind started to gather some momentum ahead of the forecast storms. It is only meant to be 18 degrees for the rest of the week with rain until Sunday. It is only downhill from now on. It is amazing how abruptly the seasons change over here.
The seeds in the photo are from a Lilac shrub which grow wild around these parts. Thanks to 60plus for hosting Tiny Tuesday this week.
