Spider...

..In a triumph of hope over experience, once again I attempted to identify a UK spider.

(I always forget what is entailed in this process...
You type in 'spider' and 'images', along with a brief description, like 'stripey', or 'green' or whatever,  and what heaves into immediate view is a host of images of naked limbs and digits in various degress of humongous putrification and decay, owing to having been bitten/poisoned by an eight legged/eyed beast.

There are also ocassional images of pretty spiders.
And some pictures of pretty spiders that are not quite so pretty and make you go 'euw, euw, euw' despite yourself.)

My one might be a 'slender crab spider'.
Then again, it might not.
My research was not wildly extensive.

I'm still lurking mainly in the vicinity of the garden.
It's looking most Autumnal.
