A trip to IKEA with a twist.
Hey Fellow Blippers. I've been very naughty this afternoon.
Me and Grandpa walked into a caravan dealer to get a small part for Lottie on the way home from Milton Keynes IKEA and ended up securing a lovely little 2000 dealer special Swift Meridian 400. Myself and Grandpa fell in love with her as soon as we stepped foot inside her door.
In good tradition, she has already been named Molly Mae and comes complete with a full awning and motor mover (Grandpa has become increasingly more unhappy about manhandling Lottie!) and we managed to knock 250 quid off the asking price for a cash deal.
I'm so excited. I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.
Oh, and the good news is that I am keeping hold of Lottie. We will once again be crossing the English Channel by Brittany Ferries to take the newly remodelled old girl back to La Belle France where she belongs.
I wonder what I will be doing to, and what the latest fad will be when I give Molly Mae the restoration treatment at the same age as Lottie is now in some 25 years from now!!! :-)
Mine and Grandpa's bank balance is now showing a big ZILCH!!!
There are three extra photos of the inside of Mollie Mae included within this blip.
