Young rabbit
This rabbit was feeding just outside the hide at Birsay Moors in Evie. I hadn't been to the new hide so went up today. I helped remove the old ramshackle one so it was impressive to see the very comfortable replacement. The hide is mainly to watch breeding red-throated divers. I saw the resident pair, but not their young. Also about: hen harrier, Arctic and great skuas etc. I walked to the shore of Evie and got lots of waders: hundreds of curlew and many lapwings, oystercatchers, snipe, turnstone, dunlin, ringed plover, and a few ruff. All too far or fast for decent photos so you get a nearby, still bunny instead.
