Pierre came back today and we had Prosecco and panisses on the terrace for our apéritif, followed by magret de canard done on the barbecue, and then little lemon biscuits  and some cornflake cakes (they're much posher here in France) for dessert.  What a treat!  Pierre was up to a lot more in Marseille than he had let on ;)
