Mallard

Met a friend at Dawson Creek today for a little birding adventure!  Always a fun time...and especially liked this mallard duck in the shallow water.  The weather is starting to seem more and more like autumn...I like that.  I really am sure that I'm ready for some cooler wetter weather.

Today was also my baby's 40th Birthday....ah, these milestones do make you think about aging and the ticking of time:)  Love you Kelli and hope you had a memorable birthday!!! (see extra photo...she's in the back row with all her friends gathered round).
