An Unkindness of Ravens

By Nevermore

Tiny Tuesday

A bit late posting this (as it's now Wednesday), but I didn't have time to post last night.
A beautiful first day of Spring, with blue skies and a mild temperature (still nippy out of the sun though). There were quite a few tiny native bees around on the even tinier flowers. This one was doing a good job stocking up on supplies!

A red wattlebird features in the extra photo, amongst the 'just about to burst forth' oak buds. There are a lot of wattlebirds in my garden and they make the most grating noise (especially at sunrise) – almost as harsh as a cockatoo. They are also very clumsy fliers – they literally crash into things, especially trees! Not the most subtle of birds!

And thanks to 60plus for hosting TinyTuesday this week.
