Early start
6:15 am to be precise. Luna wanted to look outside, my kidneys were making themselves felt but think its probably another couple of dozen small pebbles dislodged by the shaking from yesterdays mowing. It'S been at least two weeks without a kidney stone sighting!
So went to see if the horses were OK and not yet fleeing the flies that plague them in the hot weather. The sky promised another scorcher and so it turned out.
Angie did an early walk/ride so that the dogs were tired out. We had to go to the town of Bad Wörishofen at midday and didn't want to subject them to the heat in the car even if we weren't staying anywhere for more than a few minutes.
Hadn't been to the town for at least a year - it's a famous spa town, best known for being the place where the locally born priest Sebastian Kneipp did most of his medical work. We didn't go in to the town centre itself and because we had the horse trailer loaded with very fragile and heavy massive glass windows didn't manage to use the trip to get any new Blipatunnities which presented themselves including some small planes and gliders very active at the small grass airport or the huge BMW Isetta 39th annual meeting with some 260 vehicles, one of which was hoisted up on a 30m high crane.
Exhausted from loading the eight double paned 210 cm x 155 cm glass panels. spent the rest of the day doing nothing, the trailer parked out of sight and to be unloaded when we can find some victims to help.
