Sunset Strip

Almost identical scene to yesterdays but this was taken at 8:00 pm. I had just taken the horses out to the field for the night when I heard the distinct engine note of something "old". Luckily had the mobile with me and sure enough, the Eicher tractor appeared, seemingly heading home after a days fun outing. Have no idea who the couple are, she had a straw hat in her hand and he was smoking a big fat cigar and they gave a friendly wave as they chugged past. I suspect as MrB mentioned the next day, they are part of the "trend" to have an old tractor and go out for a Sunday outing, even if one doesn't otherwise have any agricultural connection.

The day was taken easy, the horse trailer remains creaking at the knees. Farmer Franz would have come around to help unload but tomorrow son Marcus is also home and we can keep the borrowed glass pane vacuum/suck carriers for a couple of days.
