Road side magazine stall in Little India. When I was growing up these were pretty common throughout Singapore, and were good places to buy a second hand copy of an Archie comic. Now there are hardly any of these stalls. 

Extras are of a tailor on the "5-foot way" (essentially a covered walkway in front of a row of shops) and the Sri Veeramakaliammam temple on Serangoon Road. Today's photos were all taken in Little India, one of the most colourful and exotic areas in Singapore.
