I settled with napkin, after thinking of tissue then serviette - is napkin more universal? He had dust on his beak, or something, I so wanted to clean his bill! Larry has been wonderful today, home after an hour of food shopping & I felt so sad & so lonely. Larry was my company. He's good at that, he understands I think. Just now, his last feed - his youngsters have already gone to roost, he didn't need to come down to see me, but he did, he had one worm, gave me a short whistle & then was gone into his ash tree for sleep.
