Jedburgh Abbey

On our slow route home, we stopped in Jedburgh. We wandered around the Abbey - it was stunning. My blip is the decoration on a coffin - the spider amused me!

We marched up the hill to the jail as well. That wasn't as interesting but the building was also stunning from the outside.

The journey from St Abbs to the M6 was stunning. I hadn't realised how much there was to see if the Scottish borders.

We finally made it back to chippenham at 9pm - absolutely shattered. It was a really good weekend away.
