off this flowering plant

do you see him? - the grasshopper, practically blended in to the flowers - on the plant - i came face to face with him - or perhaps i should say eye to eye - before i realized i was gazing - at a grasshopper, for goodness sake - i had no idea they munched - on flowering plants for food - i guess i thought they consumed other insects - silly me

it's an unusual posting for me - as this is not what i typically go for - but although i had many others - to choose from today - oddly enough i found myself gravitating back - to this one finding an unusual beauty - in it with the contrasting colors - between insect and flower - when something speaks to you like that - you simply have no choice in the - matter then, but to go with it - knowing it will make for...
