Moving in
"What a wonderful life I’ve had! I only wish I’d realized it sooner."- Colette
Loading a Uhaul trailer when it's "Arizona hot" is just draining. It wasn't hard labor but we drank a gallon of water when we were done.
Unloading the trailer in the mountains was far easier with only a few rain drops that served to motivate us to get it done quickly.
Water and food bowls for Boone were the first thing unpacked of course and then perishable food was put away, followed by new sheets and a quilt (of course) on the bed.
What is it about crisp sheets that always make me think of a fresh start?
What is it about a quilt that makes even a new place feel like home?
[Please note that each journal entry was written on the appropriate day but the storms made uploading for the past 4 days so I am catching up on posting now.]
