Can mummy's take a sick day?

The joys if being a mummy I'm feeling rotten at he moment with a bad throat, cold and headache along with Sophia seemingly the same so not sleeping and eating well! Unfortunately due to work commitments Andy is away a lot this week!
I know when 06.30 comes in the morning and the kids bounce into the bedroom il pop some pills and put on a smile do the play school run and then the school run get home to do my usual jobs then back to Playschool to collect Carmen followed by lunch, essential housework and then its the school run, then tea then bedtime routine and finally about 19.30 I may get to park my bottom on the sofa and possibly watch some tv before preparing the lunch boxes uniforms for it all to start again! So when people say what do you do all day as a mummy that is it in short - one day I may get time to put in detail what it's like the bum wiping the poop, the kisses the cuddles the tears and the laughter that is also embroiled in every day but it unlikely I will have time!
I chose to be a mummy and I love it most of the time but on days when I feel ill and just want to stay in bed I do wish calling in sick was an option:)
