Dimitri the Space Monkey
Apart from doing damage to London during the Second World War the German V2 rocket also killed its fair share of monkeys. Albert was the first monkey astronaut strapped into a V2 in 1948 and suffocated for his cause. Albert 2 died on impact back on Earth, Albert 3 blew up en-route to space and Albert 4 joined Albert 2 in the 'splattt! this is how we programmed it to land' type death.
Loads of various types of monkeys have died conquering space for mankind, this particular monkey is very lucky however. Dimitri the Space Monkey has survived many missions and continues to surprise Reidar Jnr each time he discovers him in the cockpit of the No. 1 Red Rocket. God Bless you Dimitri, safe landings you crazy monkey!
