" AND I THINK IT'S GOING TO RAIN TODAY"

I have come to the conclusion that the weather here is never what is forecast.  Yesterday they said no rain, and you've guessed it!

Today is cloudy, windy and quite cold.  I feel the Summer has been stolen and hoping it will return next week when Matthew comes back for a visit.

The plant above, actually on it's side is called a Eucomis ( Pineapple plant) and we brought it with us in a pot not wanting it be unmanaged by the new owners of The Outlook.  The flowering spike is about 10" (25 cms) tall and as you can see consists of all these amazing little flowers and if you look closely a small fly seems to be enjoying itself.

Yesterday didn't blip as too tired after digging the other bed in the garden and taking out and cutting back as much as possible.  Have made a good start but still more to do.  Mr A is going back to the dump this morning to deposit yet another large dumpy bag of garden stuff.

Cant believe its Thursday already, doesn't time fly when having Fun!!
