Hob-bit - the series

Catching up with housework today. I've done nothing else and been nowhere, hence this photo which I took in the garden.
Oh - I did have about half an hour's Skype session with a friend of our son (well she's a friend of ours now) and it was lovely to chat to her and see her little girl, who will be one in a couple of weeks.
I called the insurers at 8:40 am and told them that we really ought to have a new replacement hob - they assured me that they would speak to the engineer and call me back.
I called again at 1:30. I was again assured by someone else that they would investigate and call me back. 
I called again at 5:03 pm - they had all gone home at 5pm. No-one called me at all.
