Another 3 in the bag

3 more Wainwrights bagged in the form of Arnison Crag,  Birks and St Sunday Crag with Gavel Pike thrown in for good measure.  

It was a good walk but the weather remained overcast and despite being promised a dry day it started raining when we reached the top.  Driven by a strong northerly wind it felt really cold so we didn't linger for long.

I think we will probably have a rest tomorrow which will make a total for the week of 9 Wainwrights and our grand total 87.

This view was from the top of Gavel Pike and shows the view south.  In the distance it is possible to see the Morecambe Estuary.
