Road combat
I am becoming more combative on the roads. Standards of driving are so appalling here that I simultaneously can't believe I've suffered no serious injuries yet can't help reacting to brainless moves by others. The best result is when a huge Lexus moves into your path. I take great delight in anticipating it, stopping my bike in front of it, glaring at the driver for a prolonged period, then slowly pedalling away.
Most times the driver thinks I'm being a friendly foreigner and returns my glare with a smile. So I get to make a point (in my head) and cause no offence.
This was with my friend Melissa after a fun Vietnamese lunch.
