Hangingstone Heather

We've got problems with our network at the office, which for reasons rather too complicated to be worth explaining, has necessitated me working from home. The plus is that I can escape at lunchtime for a short run on the moor. It brought back happy memories of a time when I was able to do that much more regularly than I can ever do now.

Several people here have now noted that the heather is particularly bright this year. I thought it worth posting another shot in celebration of that. It will soon be past its best. This is Hangingstone Quarry, quite possibly the source of the very stone from which this house I live in was built!
