A Cape Spring Day....

I walked the dogs down to the river this morning, all the trees are bursting with new life. Henry and Twigs were in heaven. Met a friend visiting from up country in Kalkbay for lunch and in between helped Tom pack and see to my patient. My patient is eighty four and is supposed to be resting after major surgery but insists on having meetings at home . He is usually in his office every day at 8.15am and has more pep and vim than me!
Thank you for all your lovely comments and stars for yesterday. Tom went off without a backward glance. I have to confess I feel quite heartsore but am enjoying the silence immensely!I'll get back to you all in the morn. Got an early start tomorrow. Sleep well. Xx
