Liam at 70

So. Now that I've recovered from missing a few consecutive days due to lack of any Internet I'm back-blipping  Traumatic for all of us I know :) Hope you're sitting comfortably.
We spent Saturday in the sun in Kassel, generally preparing for Liam's 70th party. His friends and neighbours drifting in gradually. Old style brick building apartment living. Shared lots of things, garden included. A lovely feel to it all, lots of older friends, but young people too and their little kids all living in the building or nearby, all spending a bit of time. At Liam's 65th he had started us on whiskey at midday and the following day's journey back to the airport is etched indelibly on my brain. Thankfully he's slowed a little. A few more here .
